New business, Hardline Transport Solutions Inc. of Moose Jaw, is on the road “transporting produce, meat products, food grade materials, hazardous materials, heavy machinery or anything that is ‘sudden service’; a dedicated service with a time constraint.” They are a north to south domestic carrier, basing services around the area, doing business with the new facility in Regina for Loblaws Canada, Thunder Creek Pork in Moose Jaw, as well as others. Mike Bertossa, Vice-President of Hardline Transport Solutions Inc. said, “Moose Jaw is the hub of everything that goes north to south/east to west; everything has to pass through Moose Jaw.” The business that just opened its doors in January is experiencing an unbelievable response and the partners, Mike Bertossa and Dean Lang, have found an immediate opportunity because there are very limited resources for transporting produce in a climate-controlled environment, as well as hazardous material capabilities.
